İstanbul Water and Sewerage Administration Hosted the “Netherlands Trade Union Confederation” (FNV)

A delegation consist of members of the Netherlands Trade Union Confederation was hosted at İSKİ by Deputy General Director Begüm ÇELİKDELEN to get information about water and waste water management.

The delegation was led by Jan WINDE, the Chairman of the Public Services International Solidarity Committee of FNV inluding Lennie de Jong HELLEMAN-Member of the Energy Sector in Public Services, Arif KARACAOĞLAN-Personnel of the Waste Management Department, Frans CARBO and Marten van den BERGE- International Relations Experts of FNV.

In the meeting chaired by Deputy General Director Begüm ÇELİKDELEN, Foreign Relations Branch Manager Necla AKÇA made a presentation on activities, projects and technical capacity of İSKİ followed by an question-and-answer session. Also, Head of Strategic Development Department Prof. Dr. Tuğba Ölmez Hancı, Chairman of the TÜMBEL-SEN Erdal BOZKURT and union representatives attended the meeting.

The delegation continued their program at Metro İstanbul in order to get information about municipal activities in different sectors afterwards the meeting at our Administration.
