Environmentalist Steps of İSKİ Continue

İSKİ continues to increase its solar power plant capacity.

İSKİ , which realizes huge environmental investments one by one in Istanbul, is also increasing its renewable energy resources capacity day by day.

With the new solar power plants (SPP), İSKİ is increasing its electricity generation capacity by utilizing environment-friendly, clean and renewable resources.

İSKİ's solar power plant (SPP) capacity, which was 1.4 MW in 2019, reached 4.3 MW of installed capacity in 2022, with an increase of 207%.

5MW Solar Power Plant Investment in 2023

Not satisfied with these figures, İSKİ will increase its total capacity to 9.3 MW by installing a new solar power plant with a total power of 5 MW by using its own resources in 2023, thereby expanding the total capacity more than double.

FROM 2019 UNTIL TODAY, ELECTRICITY PRODUCTION IS EQUAL TO THE CONSUMPTION OF 100,000 HOUSEHOLDS PER MONTH

From 2019 until the present, İSKİ's solar energy power plant projects generated a quantity of power equal to the monthly consumption of 100,000 families. This generated energy saved the release of 6,728 tons of carbon dioxide emission.
