500,000 Euros Grant Agreement by İSKİ

Within the scope of Türkiye-France cooperation, a grant agreement of 500 thousand Euros was signed between İSKİ, AFD and ATOS, which is the first.

An agreement was signed between İSKİ, French Development Agency (AFD) and ATOS for a grant support of 500,000 Euros as part of the "Smart Measurement Technical Assistance Pilot Project". İSKİ, AFD and ATOS officials including İSKİ General Director Dr. Şafak Başa, İSKİ Deputy General Director Begüm Çelikdelen, French Consul General Olivier Gauvin, AFD Country Director Tanguy Denieul and CEO of ATOS Türkiye Can Kılıç attended the signing ceremony held in İSKİ General Directorate.

By help of the project, for which the grant agreement was signed, İSKİ will get benefits such as obtaining and managing data that will enable the billing-collection cycle to run more efficiently, reducing operating costs and preventing illegal use.

Drawing attention to the importance of following digital transformation and technological developments closely within the scope of the vision of "Fair, green and creative city, happy Istanbulites" outlined by Mayor of Istanbul Ekrem İmamoğlu, İSKİ General Director Dr. Şafak Başa stated that İSKİ continues to pursue the goal of being the leading institution in smart water management with this project and that a new one is added to the activities carried out in this direction every day.

French Consul General Olivier Gauvin and AFD Türkiye Director Tanguy Denieul expressed that this project is a beginning for new projects between two countries and their institutions in the coming days.

CEO of ATOS Türkiye Can Kılıç stated that they are glad to develop national and international water solutions of ATOS within the framework of cooperation with İSKİ owing to this agreement.

THE FIRST GRANT AGREEMENT BETWEEN AFD, ATOS AND İSKİ

On the other hand, the Tripartite Grant Agreement between İSKİ, AFD and ATOS is the first grant agreement covering environmental and technological new partnerships.
